Gunite (Eastern) Ltd carried out the refurbishment of a multi-storey car park serving Kingston Town Centre. The original scope of works anticipated a straight-forward concrete repair project with a tendered value of £50,000. A detailed survey and inspection revealed serious failures of the concrete parapet wall beneath the brick coping. Gunite recommended a revised scope of works, fully costed to enable the Client to obtain additional funding with minimal delay. All of the work was completed to the satisfaction of the Client, within the revised price and programme, with minimal disruption to the operation of the car park.
