Intumescent Paint

Resized Image

Applying Intumescent paint to steel or other materials provides an increased heat resistance to buildings and structures, and assists in slowing and containing a fire.

Gunfire is an approved on-site applicator for all the main Intumescent manufacturers, including:

  • Nullifire
  • PPG (Ameron)
  • Leighs Paints

All of our site operatives are all in the CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) system, and we also carry out in house testing to confirm that dry film thicknesses fall within the specified limits.

We can apply Intumescent paint (tested to BS 476 Part 20-21: 1987) on-site to a variety of buildings or structures, which can provide protection from 30 minutes to 2 hours of fire protection, depending on your requirements.
