Europe’s First Grand Hotel award Create major internal refurbishment contract
The prestigious Langham, London opened in 1865 as Europe’s first grand hotel. It has hosted royalty, foreign dignitaries and celebrities in luxury for over 140 years. The Langham hotel is a Victorian landmark which was expanded in the 1990's, with much of the original interior still intact. In 2004, this luxury hotel in London became the flagship property of Langham Hotels International, and a member of The Leading Hotels of the World. The first phase of the multi-million pound refurbishment was completed in 2007. The next phase of the refurbishment will recapture her past splendour and timeless elegance, blending a sence of the past with the style of today. Create Interiors are delighted to be part of this major refurbishment project.

£176k Glenkerry House refurb completed in 8 weeks
Gunite (Eastern) Ltd was awarded the main contract for external façade repairs, private and communal walkway areas and stairs.
The building remained fully occupied throughout the works and was in close proximity to the public highway and retail units at ground level.
Gunite chose to access the outside of the building by means of cradles. Once the contract had been awarded we were able to increase the level of cradle drops initially considered giving greater flexibility and coverage of the building. As a result of this and pro-active management, the programme period was further reduced by six weeks. This was greatly appreciated by the client.
The contract value of these works was £176,000 and was carried out in the reduced contract period of 8 weeks

National Trust - "Really pleased with the end result"
Upton House Swimming Pool for the National Trust was completed to the Client's satisfaction.
Karen Gwilliams from National Trust said....
"It was a good project which was completed in a short space of time. It was an unusual job and the paint samples carried out by Gunite almost exactly matched the original 1930's paint. The swimming pool is now a very good addition to the property".
