Cleaning up Westminster - BBC looks to Gunite!

Gunite operatives working at the Abingdon Car Park in Westminster were surprised to be the subject of BBC2's Newsnight cameras' attention last Wednesday. The programme was reporting on the infamous MPs expenses scandal, and filmed our men while posing the question, "Who's going to clean up Parliament?".

 The refurbishment works at the underground car park, beneath historic College Green where MPs are often interviewed on TV, have been taking place over recent months.

A spokesman for the men on site stated categorically that all their expense claims for the contract "were within the rules"!
