Gunite supports Apprenticeship and Training Agreement

As part of our ongoing commitment to the Hackney Framework, Gunite (Eastern) Ltd are supporting Lakehouse in the employment and training of Hackney residents.

Darryl Jones has been seconded to Gunite as an apprentice and will work alongside one of our experienced crews working on Gunite contracts across Hackney.  As such we have appointed a "Buddy" who will manage interests and relevant programmes on a day-to-day basis.  

Throughout the secondment we will work closely with Lakehouse's Community Development Manager in order to monitor progress, develop relevant training/induction programmes that encompass a variety of tasks and practical experiences, and carry out Health and Safety training and additional training qualifications.
