Fire Stopping for Luxury Residential Properties at Baltimore Wharf

Fire stopping works are now underway on the luxury apartments in Baltimore Wharf – due to be completed by the end of March 2018.

Having successfully completed the fire protection works for O’Shea on their Baltimore Wharf Tower project, they asked us to provide the fire stopping package for their next project, in the same area of Canary Wharf, where they are involved in the design and build of a luxury, mixed use waterfront residential development.

Scope of Works and fire protection products being used for this project

  • Installation of double batt and mastic with mechanical fixings to builder work openings/letterboxes
  • Installation of shutter and compound to all risers

The majority of penetrations were through walls in pods at low level, but we also provided fire stopping through a number of concrete floor slabs.
