Increased Fire Rating for Commercial Build at Archway House

Fire stopping works are now complete at Archway House, increasing the fire rating to 90 minutes.

Archway House is located in the heart of London Docklands and has undergone a refurbishment involving the design and construction of a new data centre within the existing office building.

Buxton Building Contractors Ltd asked us for a fire protection package to increase the fire rating to 90 minutes.

Scope of Works and fire protection materials used at Archway House

  • Vermiculite Spray to 109nr columns (increasing the fire rating to achieve 90 minutes)
  • 20mm of Nestaan Thermica SLV
  • Columns in the basement were beaded, for both fire protection and aesthetic reasons

Fire protection works are carried out under our LPCB (Loss Prevention Certification Board) accreditation.
